1924 Bougainvillea – West of Trail – Update

The project with Traction Architecture on Bougainvillea is progressing nicely. Our vendors are in full swing installing their wares. Wicked Smart Homes and DRH Plumbing have done their respective rough-ins and both Avery Roof Services and Universal Windows have completed their installs. We have had Jansen Insulation foam the house and are watching Mizell Stucco clean up the outsides while Sarasota Superfloors hones and polishes the concrete floors.

 

The first tenant of Green Building is a clean worksite.

 

We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Water Designs and the commencement of the new pool.

InStride Equine Assisted Therapy and Ampersand Construction

InStride Therapy is recognized as the leading hippotherapy center in the southeastern United States and has been a member of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH)International since 1994.

InStride’s new state-of-the-art facility offers year round programs in equine assisted activities including hippotherapy, therapeutic riding, clinic-based therapies and learning programs. We also offer experiential learning through outreach and youth programs and many volunteer opportunities.

The second floor is up and Avery Roofing has installed the roof on the 1924 Bougainvillea Street (map) house for Red Bridge Investments. Universal Windows should have our CGI windows coming along with the Windoor sliders. Sarasota Superfloors have begun grinding and polishing the concrete floors.

Sarasota West of Trail New Construction: 1924 Bougainvillea Street

We are making great progress on the spec house for Red Bridge Investments on Bougainvillea and the remodel of the guest house in the rear. Otto Jordan masonry is laying block as fast as they can. We have a bit of competition as Emerald Homes and D.R. Horton are building across the street. Please call for an appointment to visit the project.

Museum Area in Sarasota : Before & After Shots of a New Construction Project

When tasked with removing the “least desirable house” on Brywill Circle and replacing it with new construction, the owners asked for a Spanish Revival home. The ground-up construction was built with cutting-edge technology and all the creature comforts and amenities of a modern house. The structure and surrounding walls are EBS prefabricated panels, which were poured in place. Everything in the home is insulated and impact-rated beyond Florida Code resulting in a very efficient, custom product which will minimized the operating an maintenance costs of our client.

We will be doing a series of blog entries with “before and after” shots. The clean and modern feel of the home at present is a wonderful combination of current updates blended with period-specific selections and finishes.
