Before transitioning into the commercial field, Mike spent over 15 years engineering complex scenery for the nation’s most prestigious theater companies—a background that instilled a results-driven mindset defined by unmovable deadlines and the coordination of intricate, multi-layered technical designs.
At Ampersand, Mike excels at managing dozens of moving parts in parallel, navigating the most challenging project hurdles with transparency and efficiency. His diverse portfolio includes high-profile developments such as Ocean Prime at The Quay Sarasota and the NAIOP award-winning K-Force Headquarters Tampa. Mike holds a B.A. in Technical Theater with a minor in Architectural Design from Southeast Missouri State University.

He holds a J.D. and MBA from Stetson University and a B.A. in Business Management from the University of South Florida, providing a foundation that bridges field operations, deal structuring, and executive-level oversight.
Eric’s career has centered on the successful execution of complex commercial development projects, with particular strength in contract strategy, lien and payment protection, land use coordination, and joint-venture project structures. He works closely with developers, lenders, and construction teams to ensure projects are properly capitalized, contractually protected, and positioned to avoid disputes before they arise.
